Gozilla Strikes Down Ebrands

Gozilla is a popular download script that many people
utilize for costless to help with their downloading problems.
But its pitching average is striking out hard on
unsuspecting ebook branders.

People pay to have ebooks branded with their urls in them
or their affiliate urls and then they give away the ebooks,
or sell them as a great way to market and contruct a possible
backend commission.

i.e.: Tom affiliates with Joes Fish Hook Shop and
gives away an ebook that teaches fishing and suggests
that Joes Fish Hooks is a great place to shop for fishing
gear. The book is written by Joe but he ebrands the ebook
with Toms affiliate name or number so that when everybody buy
from Joes Fish Hook Shop, Tom makes a commission.

Tom spends time selling the free of cost ebook and then
has his potential buyers download the branded ebook
with his affiliate backlink and then along comes the innocent
Gozilla.

The customer comes for the ebranded book and uses
Gozilla as its download helper. Gozilla is just
helping them find the best place to download the
ebook and it whirls away looking for the fastest place
for its customer to download the ebook. And, it can
not be yours it picks!

If all the ebooks are named joesfishinglessons.exe,
Gozilla will find the fastest place for downloading
joesfishinglessons.exe and it may be someone elses
branded ebook.

Sadly, hard working Tom loses his chance for a backend
commission on the ebook and some lucky person gets credit
for sending Toms customer to Joes Fishing Shop.

Lesson Learned in this short but sweet article?

Those of you that have branded popular ebooks, do
rename them to something unique so that when you swing
against Gozilla you will see that curve, and smash your
customer home to download the ebook you intended him
to download.

How do you rename a code ? Easy, highlight the name, click
the right side button on your mouse, choose rename, erase
its current title and type in the new title that you would like
it to be.

Can you rename it on your server? You bet you might . Just
use your most acclaimed ftp program, find the document , highlight it,
choose rename and rename the document . Next, change the links on
your website so that they match the new name to the uploaded
